Super Lemon Haze Feminised

What Is Super Lemon Haze Feminised?

Super Lemon Haze Feminised brings a multi-award-winning citrus sativa to a full photoperiod grow. Green House Seed Co bred the original by crossing Lemon Skunk with Super Silver Haze. The strain then went on to win multiple Cannabis Cups. This feminised version grows on a standard light cycle, flowering once switched to 12/12.

Several seed banks now sell their own feminised version under this name. Also, they broadly agree on the same Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze parentage. That consistency is unusual for a strain this widely resold. It also speaks to how well-documented the original breeding really is.

What makes this version stand out is how faithfully it carries forward that unmistakable zesty lemon aroma. It also carries forward a genuinely energising, creative high. As a result, it remains a popular choice for growers after an award-winning daytime sativa with real citrus punch.

Origins & Genetics of Super Lemon Haze

Super Lemon Haze Feminised traces back to Green House Seed Co’s Lemon Skunk and Super Silver Haze cross. That cross itself descends from Haze, Skunk #1 and Northern Lights #5 genetics on one side. Every source consulted agrees on this parentage and breeder credit, an unusually consistent picture for such a widely grown strain.

Most sources describe a sativa-leaning phenotype, generally putting the split at 70% sativa to 30% indica. THC generally lands between 18% and 26%, with most reports clustering around 18% to 20%. One source instead lists a considerably higher 26% figure, well above the others.

This cross has earned a lasting reputation through repeated Cannabis Cup wins. So its core identity stays remarkably consistent across sellers, even where the exact potency and yield figures vary more than usual by source.

Super Lemon Haze Effects, Aroma & Flavour

Users commonly describe an energising, cerebral high with genuine creativity and sociability. A subtle, calming body undertone eases in as the high develops, without tipping into sedation. That combination makes it a genuine option for creative work, social sessions or daytime use.

Meanwhile, the aroma leans zesty lemon and citrus-forward, with sweet, earthy and skunky undertones running through most reports.

Growing Super Lemon Haze Seeds

This strain rates as moderate across most sources, and its tall Haze-leaning structure rewards a little training. Since it’s a full photoperiod plant, it needs a switch to a 12/12 light cycle indoors to begin flowering.

Indoors, its big colas and vigorous stretch benefit from early low-stress training to manage height. Our guide to growing cannabis indoors in Australia covers the setup basics if you’re planning an indoor run.

Outdoors, this strain rewards a long, sunny season and produces exceptionally well in warm climates. Our Australian cannabis grow calendar is a useful companion read for timing an outdoor planting correctly.

Super Lemon Haze Flowering Time & Yield

Super Lemon Haze Feminised typically finishes flowering in 8 to 10 weeks from 12/12. Indoors, expect yields of around 600 to 800 g/m² under good conditions, among the higher end of strains in this range.

Outdoors, a healthy plant typically produces somewhere between 1,000 and 1,200g, given reasonable light, space and a full season. This strain’s exceptional yield potential is part of what earned it repeated award recognition.

As a result, it suits growers after a genuinely high-output photoperiod sativa. Our guide to spotting quality weed is a useful companion read once harvest day arrives.

Who Super Lemon Haze Seeds Suit Best

This strain suits growers chasing a genuinely award-winning, citrus-forward sativa with a clear, energising high. It also suits users after a creative daytime effect rather than heavy sedation. Specifically, growers with a little training experience will get the most out of its tall, vigorous structure.

On the other hand, it’s a less natural fit for complete beginners after a compact, low-maintenance plant, or anyone after a fast, self-flowering timeline. If you’d prefer a faster, self-flowering timeline instead, with no light-cycle switch to manage, Super Lemon Haze Autoflower is worth a look. For anyone after a full-season grow with genuine, award-winning Super Lemon Haze character, though, Super Lemon Haze Feminised is hard to beat.
