Very good results from this one last season, almost 2 pound off of one plant. Rather pleased given it was my first proper attempt.
Excellent germination
I had one seed left from a purchase a few years ago and I thought when I tried germinating it back in September last year that I wouldn’t get anywhere with it so for back up I planted a gdp clone I was gifted along with the sour diesel. Not only did the sour d germinate but but she grew quickly in veg it was amazing,even for a outdoor recirc hempy. Summer veg was normal and she took the high 30s and 40 degrees the west coast gets every summer without showing any stress signs. Flower came quick and after 3 weeks of stretch she slowly started stacking long stinky sticky flowers. The smell that came along with the flowers were so close to 2000 sour d it was insane. She had that well known sour d smell of sour citrus with a funky diesel smell from end week 3 starting week 4 of flower right up til harvest. Harvested in march which was quite early actually for a sativa dom especially on the west coast in W.A. Final yield was around 3.2lb dry. Best part of the whole process is the effects of Sour d, Zero couch lock with intense mental clarity, energy and insane forward thinking. In today’s market of overhyped strains Sour d reminded me of how amazing some of the older strains were and also how some of the old stuff is far superior than today’s stuff.
