Sweet Tooth Feminised

What Is Sweet Tooth Feminised?

Sweet Tooth Feminised brings a triple Cannabis Cup-winning classic to a full photoperiod grow. Barney’s Farm bred the original by crossing Afghani, Nepalese and Hawaiian landrace genetics. The strain then went on to win the Cannabis Cup multiple times in the early 2000s. This feminised version grows on a standard light cycle, flowering once switched to 12/12.

Several seed banks now sell their own feminised version under this name. They also broadly agree on the same Afghani, Nepalese and Hawaiian parentage. That consistency reflects just how well-documented this strain’s award-winning history really is.

What makes this version stand out is how faithfully it carries forward that unmistakable sweet grapefruit-and-mango aroma. It also carries forward a genuinely calm, happy high. As a result, it remains a popular choice for growers after a dessert-flavoured classic with real Cannabis Cup pedigree.

Origins & Genetics of Sweet Tooth

Sweet Tooth Feminised traces back to Barney’s Farm’s original Afghani, Nepalese and Hawaiian cross, first released in the early 2000s. Every source consulted agrees on this general parentage and breeder credit. That’s an unusually consistent picture for such a widely resold strain.

Most sources describe an indica-dominant phenotype, generally putting the split somewhere between 70% and 80% indica. THC generally lands between 15% and 20%, with most reports clustering around 19% to 20%.

This cross won the Cannabis Cup multiple times in the early 2000s, cementing its legendary status. So its core identity stays remarkably consistent across sellers, even where the exact phenotype and yield figures vary more than usual by source.

Sweet Tooth Effects, Aroma & Flavour

Users commonly describe a calm, happy high with genuine relaxation and a talkative social edge. That effect can ease into a heavier, more couch-locking feeling at higher doses. Most reports, though, describe it as tranquil rather than sedating. This combination makes it a genuine option for stress relief or a relaxed evening session.

Meanwhile, the aroma leans sweet, with a grapefruit-and-ripe-mango character running through most reports. Berry, woody and floral undertones round out the profile. One source instead describes a diesel, acidic and peppery smell, a clear outlier against the sweet fruit character every other source reports.

Growing Sweet Tooth Seeds

This strain rates as easy to moderate across most sources. Its hardy, mould-resistant nature also suits growers with little to no experience. Since it’s a full photoperiod plant, it needs a switch to a 12/12 light cycle indoors to begin flowering.

Indoors, its heavy bud production can weigh branches down late in flowering, so a little extra support helps. Our guide to growing cannabis indoors in Australia covers the setup basics if you’re planning an indoor run.

Outdoors, this strain adapts well to a range of conditions, and it finishes reliably over a warm, sunny season. Our Australian cannabis grow calendar is a useful companion read for timing an outdoor planting correctly.

Sweet Tooth Flowering Time & Yield

Sweet Tooth Feminised typically finishes flowering in 8 to 10 weeks from 12/12. Most reports land around 8 to 9 weeks, making it a fairly standard photoperiod timeline. Indoors, expect yields of around 350 to 550 g/m² under good conditions.

Outdoors, a healthy plant typically produces somewhere between 550 and 800g or more, given reasonable light, space and a full season. This strain’s heavy resin production is part of what earned it its early Cannabis Cup wins.

As a result, it suits growers after a genuinely dependable, award-winning indica-hybrid. Our guide to spotting quality weed is a useful companion read once harvest day arrives.

Who Sweet Tooth Seeds Suit Best

This strain suits growers chasing a genuinely legendary, dessert-flavoured hybrid with a calm, happy high. It also suits users after a relaxing evening wind-down rather than a sharp energising lift. Specifically, first-time growers will appreciate its hardy, forgiving structure.

On the other hand, it’s a less natural fit for anyone after a purely energising daytime sativa, or a fast, self-flowering timeline. If you’d prefer a faster, self-flowering timeline instead, with no light-cycle switch to manage, Sweet Tooth Autoflower is worth a look. For anyone after a full-season grow with genuine, legendary Sweet Tooth character, though, Sweet Tooth Feminised is hard to beat.
